Melinda holds a masters degree in clinical-development psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has many years of non-profit leadership and administrative experience. Known for her work to prevent alcohol exposed pregnancies, Melinda is a passionate advocate for the needs of families with young children.

As a member of the NFN Executive Team, Amanda provides administrative and strategic leadership to the NFN Tennessee operations. Amanda earned her Masters of Education in Human, Organizational, and Community Development from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and has worked in the non-profit field as well as serving in advocacy and representative roles in educational settings, at the legislative level and in community task forces.
Ron Tompkins, MSN

As Chief Nursing Officer, Ron is responsible for the overall administrative and strategic leadership for the clinical operations of Nurses for Newborns. He holds his BSN and MS in nursing administration from the University of Colorado. Ron has been with Nurses for Newborns since 2008 and is a seasoned professional with many years of hospital administration experience. In addition, Ron holds numerous professional and community affiliations.

Mary Lou joined Nurses for Newborns in 2011 and provides overall financial, human resources, administrative and strategic leadership to NFN. Mary Lou holds a BBA from Iona College and an MBA from Pace University in New York with many years experience in working for non-profits, particularly in the health care setting. Mary Lou has also served on a number of non-profit and community boards.

Angie leads the NFN research activities and quality initiatives to improve outcomes for the clients of NFN. Angie is a Clinical Epidemiologist, collaborates with external researchers in Missouri and Tennessee and holds her Masters of Public Health from the St. Louis University School of Public Health.

As the NFN Administrative Coordinator Linda’s job responsibilities include administrative support, managing the NFN facilities and communications infrastructure, as well as providing support and acting as liaison to the NFN Board of Directors. Prior to joining NFN Linda’s professional experience included working at several St. Louis area non profit organizations.
Rich Hennicke, MSW

Rich identifies and secures grant funding opportunities that align with NFN strategic priorities and maintains linkages with community corporate and civic partners. Rich also oversees social service support for the NFN mission. Rich obtained his MSW from St. Louis University and has done post graduate studies in Business Administration at the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
Gloria Morrison, BSN

Gloria supervises the day-to-day nursing operations in Tennessee. Gloria’s experience includes work in labor and delivery, women’s health and pediatrics. Gloria has worked at several hospitals in the Nashville area and earned her BS in nursing at Middle Tennessee State University. In addition, Gloria has also earned a BS in Political Science and a BA in English Literature.

Kallie directs and oversees all fundraising efforts for the TN operations, to include marketing, public relations, special events and managing volunteer activities. Her prior experience includes a number of years of working in both corporate and non- profit organizations in the areas of marketing communications, public outreach and engagement, fundraising and event planning. Kallie received her Master’s of Arts in International Development from the University of Kent, Brussels and holds a BA from Arizona State University.

Kate’s role is to design, implement and manage all special events at NFN. Kate also maintains responsibility, oversight and training for agency volunteers. Kate is a seasoned hospitality professional and has worked for two St. Louis area premier private dining clubs. Kate holds a degree in hotel, restaurant and institutional operations from Swindon College, England and is a certified meeting planner.
